Just down the Road from the Roosevelt location, Academic Explorers expanded into the neighboring community of Uniondale in the Fall of 2021. With spacious classrooms, brand new equipment and curriculum materials, our experienced team of teachers offer high quality child care for toddlers, preschoolers, and pre-k students. Our Uniondale center also has after classrooms designed for children in grades K-6.
About the director
Starting as a school-age classroom teacher, Ms. Stephanie Guardado began her career at Academic Explorers in 2018. Her commitment to teamwork and dedication to creating positive relationships with families, staff, and quality experiences for children propelled her onto the administrative team where she currently serves as the Uniondale location's Center Director. Ms. Stephanie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Speech & Hearing Sciences from SUNY at Buffalo.
