Our Roosevelt center was the first Academic Explorers location, proudly opening in March 2017 as part of our mission to provide exceptional early childhood education on Long Island. Over the years, we’ve built a strong reputation and lasting partnership with the Roosevelt Union Free School District, serving as a trusted Nassau County UPK provider for local families.
Through this collaboration, we offer free Universal Pre-K (UPK) programs for three- and four-year-old children in Roosevelt, NY, giving young learners the opportunity to develop a love for learning in a structured, nurturing environment. In addition to our UPK classrooms, our Roosevelt child care center provides high-quality infant, toddler, and preschool programs, each guided by The Creative Curriculum® to support social, emotional, and academic growth.

ROOSEVELT CHILD CARE PROGRAMS

We provide pick up and drop off service to and from elementary schools for kids in our before & after school program.

About the director
With her A.A. degree in early childhood education and her B.A. degree in psychology, Ms. Alicia combines her education with over a decade of experience and is a highly skilled child care center director. She has had many years of experience as a classroom teacher before moving into administration. Ms. Alicia sets a great example of what it means to be a dedicated early childhood educator.
